Fruita, CO, Car Show

Grills Gone Wild
Last weekend's trip to the Colorado National Monument also afforded a side trip to nearby Fruita, Colorado, for a town festival and car show.  Beautiful automobile restorations were shown off in the town square, and I snapped a few photos of my favorites.

Fruita, a small town of about 13,000 residents, is becoming a well known destination for its outdoor adventures such as world class single track mountain biking and hiking.

When camping at Colorado National Monument, Fruita is also a convenient location for restocking supplies and dinner out when hotdogs on the camp grill no longer cut it.
