We visited Cherry Creek State Park just outside of Denver, CO, again this season, but this time we camped with a local RV group. We had a great time meeting new friends and all their dogs. The canines literally outnumbered the humans on this trip - that took some getting used to :-).
This campground is well manicured and the RV sites have concrete pads and full hook ups which make camping here a breeze. It is a great place to camp, close to the Cherry Creek Reservoir for boating, swimming, and fishing, but it gets busy in mid-summer due to its close proximity to Denver.
